Verde River Valley Attractions

Clear Creek RV Park is located at the southeast end of the Verde River Valley along the General Crook Trail.  The valley is located in the watershed area of central Arizona.  The Camp Verde community is the oldest in the river valley, and was established in 1865 to protect settlers from Indian raids.  The banks of the Verde River, one of the last untamed western rivers, is near the geographic center of the state of Arizona.

Clear Creek in Coconino National Forest

Across Highway 260 from Clear Creek RV Park is Coconino National Forest Campground and access to Clear Creek.  Enjoy the sounds of rustling sycamore and cottonwood tree leaves!  A great walk with shade.
